The Good News:
travel was smooth for me and everyone else.
The Slightly Less Good News:
there has been a glitch with the bike paperwork which is delaying release of the bikes. Chris thinks we should be able to recover the bikes today but hey if you got to be stuck somewhere, there are lots worse places to be stuck!
Worst case would be we will be here for the weekend and away Monday. Saturday morning we're doing touristy stuff round Alcatraz etc then we have a BBQ to go to in the evening. I am writing this at 5:25am local time because my body clock is still catching up and insists I should be awake!!
